Greg Koguc

LPC, CEO


Gregory  has  been in practice for nearly 20 years. He is a licensed professional counselor and has a certification in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. Greg has worked as a therapist in the Atlantic City High School Teen Center, Child and Adolescent units for Atlanticare, private practice, and as an in-community licensed therapist. Greg specializes in working with clients who are on the autism spectrum. 

Samantha Knocke

Samantha is a Certified Psychiatric Rehabilitation Practitioner and assists the county and state as a Disaster Response Crisis Counselor. Samantha is trained in Motivational Interviewing and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. Samantha specializes in working with SPMI and ADHD population. She is Needs Assessment Certified and is able to complete Bio-psychosocial Assessments. She is also a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional.

Joseph Accardi

Director LCSW's


Joe has experience in working with adults and children with both mental illness and substance abuse issues as well as individuals with developmental disabilities. Joe obtained both his undergraduate and graduate degrees at the Richard Stockton College of New Jersey. Joe has experience working with clients that have ADHD, bipolar disorder, PTSD, and oppositional defiant disorder.

Anne Adamson

LCSW


Anna has her master's degree from Rutgers University in Direct Practice. As a therapist, Anne has experience in individual therapy, family therapy, adoption/bonding, trauma, depression, anxiety, ADHD, anger management and youth who are court involved. Anne takes a strength-based, motivation focused approach when working with youth and families.

Melissa Bailey

LPC

Melissa is an LPC (Licensed Professional Counselor) as well as an ACS (Approved Clinical Supervisor).  She works full time for Cape Counseling as a PACT team supervisor. Melissa has experience working with adults and children who have a mental health diagnosis. She has experience working with substance abuse (adults and children) and children with developmental challenges as well. Melissa obtained her bachelor's degree is Psychology from Stockton University and is a graduate from Monmouth University with a master's degree in Psychological Counseling.

Emily Braithwaite

LCSW

Emily obtained a master's degree at Rutgers University. Emily has worked with children in a wide variety of settings. She is employed with NJ Division of Developmental Disabilities as the Habilitation Plan Coordinator where she monitors agencies progress and ensures all of the needs of the individual are met. Her counseling style is more of a holistic approach in teaching families and making the outcome long lasting.


Jennifer Cella-Roe

LCSW
Jennifer is an LCSW who received her master’s degree in Social Work from Monmouth University. She has worked in a variety of settings: outpatient, partial care, inpatient and in-community. Her background includes work with children, adolescence and adults. She has experience working with individuals diagnosed with mental health and developmental challenges. Jennifer was the Adult Protective Services supervisor for Atlantic County government. She is a Disaster Response Crisis Counselor. Jennifer has also been trained in CBI (classroom-community-culture based intervention).

Joshua Cervone

LCSW
Josh has experience treating children, adolescence, and adults facing mental health diagnosis. He obtained his undergraduate degree from Taylor University, a master in Social Work from Stockton University, and a graduate certificate in Pastoral Counseling from Liberty University. Josh obtained his LSW in 2014, his LCSW in 2016, and is in the process of becoming a Board Certified Professional Christian Counselor. Josh works to  integrate spirituality and faith into the counseling process.  Josh has been a crisis de-escalation expert and a Crisis Prevention Instructor since 2011.

Craig Cochran

LPC, ACS

Craig has worked in a variety of settings: inpatient unit, adult partial care program, and outpatient setting.  Craig works for AtlantiCare Behavioral Health as a Director of the ACHS Teen Center and assists students with resources they need to graduate high school. Craig also serves as a member of the Traumatic Loss Coalition and Youth Minority Issues Committee.  He is an LPC and Disaster Response Crisis Counselor. Craig specializes in: ADD, ADHD, self mutilation, suicidal ideation, anxiety/trauma, depression. He is a certified Suicide Awareness Instructor.

Elizabeth Flores

Elizabeth earned a master's in Social Work with a concentration in Mental Health from the University of Southern California. Her prior experiences include: organizing activities for the Pleasantville School District Early Childhood Department, conducting support groups, crisis intervention, family support and providing workshops on various topics. Elizabeth is bilingual and has training in play therapy, problem solving, and motivational interviewing. She has an interest in serving Spanish speaking clients and has assisted families in obtaining social services.


Rebecca Leigh

Rebecca is a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional with training in Trauma-Focused CBT. Rebecca has also been trained in ARC-GROW, a curriculum for caregivers of children who have experienced trauma. She has experience working with children ages 3-21 with a wide range of needs, including complex trauma, attachment issues, reunification, grief and loss, depression, anxiety, mood disorders, ODD/Conduct Disorder, and ADHD. She also has professional experience with Special Education Law and children with special medical, intellectual, and developmental needs.

Mayelin Nieves

Mayelin is a bilingual LCSW fluent in Spanish with experience in crisis de-escalation services with adults, children, and adolescents. Mayelin received her bachelor’s degree and master’s degree in Social Work from Stockton University with a concentration in child welfare, diversity, cultural competence, leadership, and management. Mayelin is trained in Motivational Interviewing, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for depression and suicidality, and Trauma-Focused CBT.


Darren Sinatra

LPC
Darren has experience working with adults and adolescents who have both mental health and substance abuse issues. He has experience working with children and adolescents with a variety of issues such as: oppositional defiant disorder and ADHD. Darren has worked with adolescents involved with the criminal justice system and currently works as a care advocate with managed care. Darren has earned his undergraduate degree from Richard Stockton College and obtained a master of Science in Substance Abuse Counseling from Pace University.

Dr. Joseph Stahl

LPC, LCADC
Joe is a dually licensed counselor in NJ, as well as an approved and certified clinical supervisor. Joe has experience in a stabilization hospital for people with various developmental disabilities, methadone maintenance clinics, the welfare system, a modified therapeutic community, a mental heath group home for post-stabilization suicidal patients, as an adjunct professor, and has been the director of outpatient substance abuse/co-occurring treatment programs in the South Jersey area. In addition to being an Intensive In-Community therapist, Joe is in private practice and a partner at Family Empowerment Recovery Services, LLC.

Maryellen Walsh

LCSW
Maryellen is an LCSW who has worked with children, adolescents and families in outpatient and in-home settings. She is knowledgeable of school systems, learning disabilities and special education laws. Her approach is strength-based and focuses on obtaining realistic solutions and improved functioning for clients and their families. She has experience with issues related to anger, anxiety/depression, ADD/ADHD, behavior management, grief and parenting skills. Maryellen is a strong believer in the connection between mental and physical health.

Shalini Basu


Shalini has her undergraduate degree from Stockton University and her master's from Rutgers University. Shalini has experience working with adults and adolescents, with chronic illnesses, mental health/substance abuse issues and disabilities. In addition to her role as in home therapist at Family Empowerment, Shalini is also a Medical Social Worker at Holy Redeemer Hospice in Cape May County, NJ.

Rachael Clark


Rachael currently serves as an LSW. She uses a multi modal approach in therapy sessions, which guides her to determine the most effective technique for each individual. In addition, she works with those who experience anger, depression, anxiety, mood disorders, suicidal ideation‘s, PTSD and thought disorders. Rachael has provided individual counseling to those in IP, OP and IOP settings along with medication assisted treatment. Rachael is also a CCTP. Currently, she works as a mental health clinician in the NJ DOC state prison system.

Jacqueline Deniz


Jacqueline has 20 years of experience working with children with behavioral and emotional issues. She worked at the Atlantic County Youth Shelter with children involved with DCP&P, human trafficking, the criminal justice system, and homeless youth. Currently, she works at the Atlantic County Intoxicated Driving Program assisting adults with substance abuse, as well as, with  the restoration of their driving privileges. She received her undergraduate degree in behavioral science and a master's degree in Social Work from Stockton.

Treasure Esochaghi


Treasure obtained her master's in Social Work from Rutgers's University. Treasure has experience  with mental health issues including working with victims of violence. Treasure is an Adolescent Supervisor with DCP&P and is also a Domestic Violence Crisis Advocate with the Atlantic County Women Center. Turkessa L. Lee


Turkessa Lee is a two time graduate of Norfolk State University in Norfolk, VA. She has a bachelors and master’s degree in social work. She has been in the field of social work for over 20 years. She is a School Social Worker for Pleasantville Public Schools. She is also the author of After the Gavel: The ABC's of Happiness After Divorce. Ms. Lee also is a trainer, blogger, poet, and motivational speaker in her spare time. Kareem SPence

Dymir Tatem


Dymir specializes in working with children and adolescence with both mental illness and substance abuse issues. Evelyn Flati

Senior Strategist

Evie is a certified Behavioral Assistant, who is trained to assist youth in dealing with anger management, depression, ODD, social anxiety, ADD/ADHD, panic attacks and OCD. She develops coping skills through self-soothing techniques, self-esteem, and positive behavior. Evie has experience with younger children as well as teens. She works with children using arts and crafts projects such as Legos, puzzles, and games.

Brendan Foley

Brendan is currently in the process of obtaining his LCADC. Brendan has a Master’s Degree in Forensic Psychology from Stockton University. Brendan has experience working with adults with severe and persistent mental illness and/or substance abuse disorders. In addition to being a BA, Brendan currently uses motivational interviewing techniques when conducting substance abuse and mental health assessments for the National Council on Alcoholism and Drug Dependence (NCADD).

Andre Fox-Rosales

Andre has a bachelor's degree from Stockton University in health sciences. Andre has worked with children who have been diagnosed with ADHD, autism, and oppositional defiant disorder. Andre is motivated to work with youths and families, while hoping to show them compassion, respect, and professionalism throughout all situations. He is able to work with teams as well as individually while maintaining focus on helping the youth, and family, that he is working with.  

Virginia Hauck

Virginia has worked with children in grades K-6, as well as, foster children and their families. She has worked with the SPMI (serious and persistent mental illness)  population and specializes in working with the co-occurring population. She has facilitated intensive outpatient services and has training on using motivational interviewing and CBT. She also has experience working with youths in a hospital-based detox program.

Dennis Keller

Dennis is a Behavioral Assistant, certified by the Children's System of Care at Rutgers University. Dennis has a bachelor's degree in Business from Stockton University. In addition to being a Behavioral Assistant, Dennis is a full time investigator with the division of Gaming Enforcement. Dennis has over 5 years experience working with children and adults in various settings with mental illness, substance abuse issues, and developmental issues.

Migdalia has a bachelor’s degree from Stockton University in psychology. Migdalia is a certified Behavioral Assistant who is bilingual and loves working with children of all ages. Migdalia has experience working with and resolving school issues. She also has worked with children who have been diagnosed with mood disorders, depression, and ADHD.  

Diane Toscano

Diane specializes in working with teenagers, assisting parents in dealing with their children’s behavioral problems, anxiety & depression coping skills and diversity. Diane is bilingual. She also has experience working with children on the spectrum.

Diane is also a Site Director and a Family Advocate in Head Start, helping families find resources such as employment, applying for housing and utility help, and helping enroll children. 

Eladio Valentin

Eladio is a certified Behavioral Assistant who is fluent in Spanish. He has experience and works well with children of all ages.
