Licensed Level Clinicians

Greg Koguc

LPC, CEO


Gregory  has  been in practice for nearly 20 years. He is a licensed professional counselor and has a certification in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. Greg has worked as a therapist in the Atlantic City High School Teen Center, Child and Adolescent units for Atlanticare, private practice, and as an in-community licensed therapist. Greg specializes in working with clients who are on the autism spectrum. 

Joseph Accardi

Director LCSW's


Joe has experience in working with adults and children with both mental illness and substance abuse issues as well as individuals with developmental disabilities. Joe obtained both his undergraduate and graduate degrees at the Richard Stockton College of New Jersey. Joe has experience working with clients that have ADHD, bipolar disorder, PTSD, and oppositional defiant disorder.

Samantha Knocke

LPC, LCADC, ACS, Clinical Director LPC's
Samantha is a Certified Psychiatric Rehabilitation Practitioner and assists the county and state as a Disaster Response Crisis Counselor. Samantha is trained in Motivational Interviewing and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. Samantha specializes in working with SPMI and ADHD population. She is Needs Assessment Certified and is able to complete Bio-psychosocial Assessments. She is also a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional.

Dr. Joseph Stahl

LPC, LCADC
Joe is a dually licensed counselor in NJ, as well as an approved and certified clinical supervisor. Joe has experience in a stabilization hospital for people with various developmental disabilities, methadone maintenance clinics, the welfare system, a modified therapeutic community, a mental heath group home for post-stabilization suicidal patients, as an adjunct professor, and has been the director of outpatient substance abuse/co-occurring treatment programs in the South Jersey area. In addition to being an Intensive In-Community therapist, Joe is in private practice and a partner at Family Empowerment Recovery Services, LLC.

Rebecca Leigh

Rebecca is a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional with training in Trauma-Focused CBT. Rebecca has also been trained in ARC-GROW, a curriculum for caregivers of children who have experienced trauma. She has experience working with children ages 3-21 with a wide range of needs, including complex trauma, attachment issues, reunification, grief and loss, depression, anxiety, mood disorders, ODD/Conduct Disorder, and ADHD. She also has professional experience with Special Education Law and children with special medical, intellectual, and developmental needs.

Anne Adamson

LCSW


Anna has her master's degree from Rutgers University in Direct Practice. As a therapist, Anne has experience in individual therapy, family therapy, adoption/bonding, trauma, depression, anxiety, ADHD, anger management and youth who are court involved. Anne takes a strength-based, motivation focused approach when working with youth and families.

Melissa Bailey

LPC

Melissa is an LPC (Licensed Professional Counselor) as well as an ACS (Approved Clinical Supervisor).  She works full time for Cape Counseling as a PACT team supervisor. Melissa has experience working with adults and children who have a mental health diagnosis. She has experience working with substance abuse (adults and children) and children with developmental challenges as well. Melissa obtained her bachelor's degree is Psychology from Stockton University and is a graduate from Monmouth University with a master's degree in Psychological Counseling.

Amanda Bracarello

LCSW

Amanda has worked with children, adolescents, and adults carrying mental health diagnoses and those that have experienced suicidal ideation. Amanda has worked for the Atlantic County PACT Team as a therapist and is currently employed by AtlantiCare Behavioral Health as the Suicide Prevention Coordinator. Amanda earned her Bachelor of Science in Social Work with a minor in Women's, Gender & Sexuality Studies and Master of Social Work from Stockton University. Amanda's studies focused on diversity, cultural competence, crisis intervention, and the LGBTQ+ community. Amanda utilizes solution-oriented and strengths-based approaches with her clients.

Emily Braithwaite

LCSW

Emily obtained a master's degree at Rutgers University. Emily has worked with children in a wide variety of settings. She is employed with NJ Division of Developmental Disabilities as the Habilitation Plan Coordinator where she monitors agencies progress and ensures all of the needs of the individual are met. Her counseling style is more of a holistic approach in teaching families and making the outcome long lasting.


Craig Cochran

LPC, ACS

Craig has worked in a variety of settings: inpatient unit, adult partial care program, and outpatient setting.  Craig works for AtlantiCare Behavioral Health as a Director of the ACHS Teen Center and assists students with resources they need to graduate high school. Craig also serves as a member of the Traumatic Loss Coalition and Youth Minority Issues Committee.  He is an LPC and Disaster Response Crisis Counselor. Craig specializes in: ADD, ADHD, self mutilation, suicidal ideation, anxiety/trauma, depression. He is a certified Suicide Awareness Instructor.

Turkessa L. Lee

LCSW
Turkessa Lee is a two time graduate of Norfolk State University in Norfolk, VA. She has a bachelors and master’s degree in social work. She has been in the field of social work for over 20 years. She is a School Social Worker for Pleasantville Public Schools. She is also the author of After the Gavel: The ABC's of Happiness After Divorce. Ms. Lee also is a trainer, blogger, poet, and motivational speaker in her spare time.

Crystal Matthews

LCSW
Crystal is certified in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. She has a collaborative and strengths-based perspective, with an emphasis on connection and attachment within families. Crystal is a certified Nurtured Heart Approach Trainer, who sees the greatness in every youth and family she works with. Her experience includes providing therapy and skill development for adolescents with symptoms of: anxiety, depression, self-injurious behaviors, PTSD, and suicidal ideation.

wendy McKensie

LPC

Wendy​ received her master's from Seton Hall University in an educational setting (k-12). She is a certified School Counselor at the William Davies Middle School. Wendy has over fifteen years experience working with children and families. Her experience includes working with those who are grieving, depression/suicidal ideation, anxiety, substance abuse, and anger management. She has her certification as a Strengthening Families trainer.

Shantia Murphy

LCSW

Shantia obtained her Masters degree in Social Work from Rutgers University, and has been working in the mental health field for over 10 years. She is proficient in a number of theraputic modalities, but utilizes solution-focused therapy the most. She is also Youth Director at her church, where she finds fun and innovative ways to provide spiritual guidance and teach life skills. Shantia is a member of the National Association of Black Social Workers, and is committed to enhancing and empowering the lives of people of African Ancestry.

Eveliz Robles

Eveliz is a bilingual (Spanish) Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC). She earned her graduate degree in Masters of Science, Human Services, Mental Health Counseling from Capella University in Minneapolis, MN. She has 7+ years of experience in counseling, working with children, adults and families

Leslie Selby

LCSW
Leslie is a licensed clinical social worker and is pending licensure as a licensed clinical drug and alcohol counselor. Leslie is a trauma informed therapist certified in the ARC-Grow curriculum designed to address the needs of children experiencing complex trauma. Leslie is a proponent of treating the whole person, mind, body and spirit. She has experience in working with children and adults who suffer from trauma, anxiety, depression, grief and loss, and substance abuse.

Darren Sinatra

LPC
Darren has experience working with adults and adolescents who have both mental health and substance abuse issues. He has experience working with children and adolescents with a variety of issues such as: oppositional defiant disorder and ADHD. Darren has worked with adolescents involved with the criminal justice system and currently works as a care advocate with managed care. Darren has earned his undergraduate degree from Richard Stockton College and obtained a master of Science in Substance Abuse Counseling from Pace University.

Jay Tunnicliffe

Jay has worked with adolescents and families with various types of severe and persistent mental disorders since obtaining his master's degree from Rutgers University. Jay's wholistic approach believes counseling involves treating the whole person and their environment in order to get the best results. Jay is also the current Program Manager of the Egg Harbor Twp. High School Teen Center which helps provide students with various resources in order to ensure successful graduates.

Maryellen Walsh

LCSW
Maryellen is an LCSW who has worked with children, adolescents and families in outpatient and in-home settings. She is knowledgeable of school systems, learning disabilities and special education laws. Her approach is strength-based and focuses on obtaining realistic solutions and improved functioning for clients and their families. She has experience with issues related to anger, anxiety/depression, ADD/ADHD, behavior management, grief and parenting skills. Maryellen is a strong believer in the connection between mental and physical health.

Rosa Allen

LSW

Rosa is a bilingual, licensed social worker with over 10 years of experience in the field. She earned her Master’s from Rutgers University. Rosa has experience in working with children, adults and families with mental health, behavioral needs. Among these needs children who have been diagnosed with ADHD, ODD, depression, eating disorders, anxiety, as well as developmental delays. Rosa also has experience working with the adolescent and adult substance abuse/ co-occurring disorder population. Rosa is also certified in the ARC GROW curriculum designed to address the needs of children suffering from complex trauma.

Shalini Basu

LSW

Shalini has her undergraduate degree from Stockton University and her master's from Rutgers University. Shalini has experience working with adults and adolescents, with chronic illnesses, mental health/substance abuse issues and disabilities. In addition to her role as in home therapist at Family Empowerment, Shalini is also a Medical Social Worker at Holy Redeemer Hospice in Cape May County, NJ.

Rachael Clark

LSW

Rachael currently serves as an LSW. She uses a multi modal approach in therapy sessions, which guides her to determine the most effective technique for each individual. In addition, she works with those who experience anger, depression, anxiety, mood disorders, suicidal ideation‘s, PTSD and thought disorders. Rachael has provided individual counseling to those in IP, OP and IOP settings along with medication assisted treatment. Rachael is also a CCTP. Currently, she works as a mental health clinician in the NJ DOC state prison system.

Jacqueline Deniz

Jacqueline has 20 years of experience working with children with behavioral and emotional issues. She worked at the Atlantic County Youth Shelter with children involved with DCP&P, human trafficking, the criminal justice system, and homeless youth. Currently, she works at the Atlantic County Intoxicated Driving Program assisting adults with substance abuse, as well as, with  the restoration of their driving privileges. She received her undergraduate degree in behavioral science and a master's degree in Social Work from Stockton.

Treasure Esochaghi

Treasure obtained her master's in Social Work from Rutgers's University. Treasure has experience  with mental health issues including working with victims of violence. Treasure is an Adolescent Supervisor with DCP&P and is also a Domestic Violence Crisis Advocate with the Atlantic County Women Center. Treasure obtained her graduate degree and Certificate in Violence Against Women and Children and a postgraduate Certificate in Adolescent Advocacy.

Meraris Lopez

LSW

Meraris is a bilingual master level clinician. Meraris has a master's degree in social work from Rutgers University. She has experience working with children who have been diagnosed with ADHD, depression, anxiety, oppositional defiant disorder, and post-traumatic stress disorder. Meraris hopes to help those who are in need while utilizing her professional skills. She is experienced with one on one counseling as well as group settings.

Jamēka Moore

Jamēka obtained her Masters degree from Rutgers University. She has experience working with adolescents and families with various mental health concerns from trauma to behavioral issues. Jamēka is dedicated to breaking the stigma around mental health in her community by providing beneficial therapeutic techniques to address individual needs. She is the therapist at the Atlanticare Behavioral Health Teen Center and a mentor in the Atlantic City area.

Joe has a master’s degree from Temple University. He is experienced in case management. Joe also has experience with children on the autism spectrum. Bianca obtained her master's in Social Work from Rutgers's University. Bianca has experience with working in a partial care program, in community support, and outpatient services. Andre has a bachelor's degree from Stockton University in health sciences. Andre has worked with children who have been diagnosed with ADHD, autism, and oppositional defiant disorder. Andre is motivated to work with youths and families, while hoping to show them compassion, respect, and professionalism throughout all situations. He is able to work with teams as well as individually while maintaining focus on helping the youth, and family, that he is working with.

Ana has experience working with children and adolescence with behavioral challenges, anxiety, trauma, emotional issues, and Oppositional Defiant Disorder. Ana is passionate about making a positive impact in the lives of those in need.

Loretta McCormick

Loretta is a certified Behavioral Assistant. She obtained her bachelor’s degree in History from Kean University. Loretta has experience working with children and adolescents with mood disorders, depression, ADHD, and anxiety.

Sarah Mol

Sarah is a certified Behavioral Assistant. She obtained her bachelors degree in Elementary Education from Houghton College. She has over ten years of experience working with children and adolescents. Sarah has experience working with individuals who are experiencing anxiety, depression, and ADHD.

Migdalia ROsario

Senior Strategist

Migdalia has a bachelor’s degree from Stockton University in psychology. Migdalia is a certified Behavioral Assistant who is bilingual and loves working with children of all ages. Migdalia has experience working with and resolving school issues. She also has worked with children who have been diagnosed with mood disorders, depression, and ADHD.  

Roberto Salazar

Senior Strategist

Alberto is a certified bilingual behavioral assistant who obtained his bachelor's degree in criminal justice from Stockton University and master's degree in social work from Fordham University. Alberto is also a full time medical case manager at an Infectious Disease clinic, giving him experience with adults and adolescents across a large span of medical, mental and behavioral issues, including substance abuse, mood disorders, schizophrenia, Hepatitis-C, and HIV/AIDS.
